Packaging & Pre-Assembly: Legs are packaged individually, the tail is fully assembled, and all magnets are pre-glued into the body and heads.

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

Step 1: Order raw parts.

Select your favorite BJD cat or dog mold from our collection. If you cannot find the desired mold or configuration, please send me a message and I will process your order individually.

Step 2: Coloring. Here, I can suggest three ways to paint your raw parts (you can combine them all!):

a) Painting with acrylics (The simplest way): A little drawing goes a long way when it comes to coloring beautifully! Acrylic paint is perfect for fine details, spots, stripes, and expressive face-ups.

c) Airbrushing (If you're skilled with an airbrush): If you're skilled with an airbrush, this method is perfect! You can paint with a solid color, soft gradients, or sharp edges by masking off white areas.

b) Dyeing (using fabric dyes): This is a fairly complex technique, but I can suggest options that even beginners can handle: skin tone (Ecru Jacquard), brown (RIT Dark Brown), and black (RIT Black). You can make beautiful gradients too (check out the video)!

Make sure the UV gel and UV lamp have a compatible wavelength!

Elastic Thread Sizing & Stringing Rules:

4 cm models: Use a single elastic thread.
5 cm & 6 cm models: Use a double elastic thread.
6 cm & 7 cm models: Use a 1 mm round elastic.
Models over 8 cm: Use a 1.5 mm round elastic.
